Denise Medeiros serves as the Associate Director of the ISSO and has been a staff member since November, 2002. She has previously worked with international students and scholars at Cornell University and the State University of New York at Buffalo. She holds a Master of Arts in Education in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies both from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Denise has lived and studied in Finland and Germany and has taught English in Brazil. She has become fluent in Swedish, German, Portuguese and Spanish. Denise enjoys yoga, kayaking, and spending time with family. She is originally from New York State.
